Sunday Service 10am

Illawarra Church of Christ is truly a place where everyone is welcome. We believe we are all a work in progress so come and join us as together we seek to grow in our relationship with God and each other so we can truly serve our community.

We believe that Jesus is passionate about us and we seek to help each other understand how to know God through a relationship with Jesus.

Our Sunday gathering is at Balgownie Village Community Centre, 113 Balgownie Road, Balgownie, Wollongong on Sunday 10am. We gather for 60 minutes of uplifting and motivating worship, connection and practical teaching.

Our music is a mixture of classic and contemporary picked for ease of singing and to support the theme of the day.

We have an encouraging and uplifting 15-20 minute bible based message designed to help you live a joyful and flourishing life in God. Every week we celebrate communion and all those in attendance are welcome to participate.

There is opportunity every week for people to request prayer if they so desire.

Young children are able to sit with parents or be looked after by our children’s ministry. (Everybody working with children must have a current ‘Working with Children’ certificate and always have another adult present.)

After the service we connect with one another over morning tea and then some of us go off for lunch together.
